REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
  • Minimum 10 years bookkeeping experience
  • Must have own car and drivers license
  • If you have children at school in the area, ability to step out and do a transport run if needed
  • Pastel experience essential
  • Team Player
  • Dedicated, accurate with excellent attention to detail
 
DUTIES
  • Books to Trial Balance Sheet and preparation for Auditors
  • Capture and process cashbook in Pastel & reconcile cashbooks monthly
  • Preparation of VAT
  • Full Debtors function - Invoicing, Statements, Reconciliations using Excel
  • Invoicing from GRN and Packing List
  • Working with online portal to manage Purchase Orders & raise PO on pastel
  • Full Creditors Function, dealing with Local and International Suppliers
  • Capture and reconcile creditors and prepare payments for International Suppliers
  • Preparation of month end creditors payments
  • Handle any queries that occur
  • Dealing with Freight Forwarders and tracking of vessels and orders
  • Manage any queries that occur
  • Monitor stock movement/delivery
  • Review Supplier commercial docs and packing lists
  • Reconcile monthly stock sheets received from Warehouse to balance back to Pastel
  • Prepare Bank Stock reports
  • Declare stock balances to Customer
  • Capture Commercial invoices for stock received.
  • General ad-hoc administrative duties
Salary: R dependent on experience
