SUMMARY:
Bookkeeper (SYSPRO) - Rosebank

JOB DESCRIPTION:

SYSPRO – Non NEGIOTABLE
Balancing Cashbooks to the Bank statement & GL.
Process Cashbook expenses and deposits to the correct expense and GL codes.
Petty cash allocations
Checking and processing credit cards statements
Assists with Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Loading new suppliers to Syspro and checking Creditors reconciliations
Full responsibility and maintenance of fixed Asset register.
Must have a solid accounting background and understanding of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet
VAT Returns to be completed, submitted, and balanced to the GL & respond
Prepare company VAT returns for FM to submit.
Payment of COD invoices, following up on Invoices, sending proof of payments, and filing
Timeous and effective management of Monthly and Year End tasks-Audit Assistance
Capturing Creditors Purchase Orders on Linen Place Properties-SYSPRO
Reconciling COJ Accounts monthly & following up with COJ
Assisting Financial Manager on any adhoc projects
Debtors and Creditors experience a must
Experience in accounting department will be an advantage
