SUMMARY:
Bookkeeper (SYSPRO) - Rosebank

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • SYSPRO – Non NEGIOTABLE
  • Balancing Cashbooks to the Bank statement & GL.
  • Process Cashbook expenses and deposits to the correct expense and GL codes.
  • Petty cash allocations
  • Checking and processing credit cards statements
  • Assists with Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Loading new suppliers to Syspro and checking Creditors reconciliations
  • Full responsibility and maintenance of fixed Asset register.
  • Must have a solid accounting background and understanding of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet
  • VAT Returns to be completed, submitted, and balanced to the GL & respond
  • Prepare company VAT returns for FM to submit.
  • Payment of COD invoices, following up on Invoices, sending proof of payments, and filing
  • Timeous and effective management of Monthly and Year End tasks-Audit Assistance
  • Capturing Creditors Purchase Orders on Linen Place Properties-SYSPRO
  • Reconciling COJ Accounts monthly & following up with COJ
  • Assisting Financial Manager on any adhoc projects
  • Debtors and Creditors experience a must
  • Experience in accounting department will be an advantage
