SUMMARY:
Do you have experience managing the Bookkeeping portfolio at a manufacturing company?

Our manufacturing Client is based in Blackheath and requires your Bookkeeping expertise within a manufacturing concern with excellent knowledge of bill of materials.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS
Matric, and Bookkeeping Certificate; Diploma/Degree in finance, or studying towards diploma/degree.
Own car and drivers license
2 to 5 years’ experience as a bookkeeper in a manufacturing industry.
Intermediate to Advanced Pastel Experience, company might be moving over from Pastel Partner to Xero (Xero exp advantageous)
Medium to Advanced Excel Skills
Previous experience in a manufacturing industry and Bill of Materials ESSENTIAL
Previous experience with stock is preferred.
Strong processing/data capturing skills
Highly organised, systematic and efficient
Effective Time Management
Highly attentive to detail
Ability to Multi-task and handle pressure
Self & Deadline driven
Strong customer service acumen

DUTIES:
Bookkeeping to Trial Balance
Managing creditors functions and renconciliations
GRN (Goods Received Note)
Invoicing
Return & Debits
Managing Stock control
Dealing with administration Queries
Managing Debtors functions and reconcilations
Processing Credit Notes
Receipting
Sending of customer Statements
Collections
Credit Applications – opening new accounts
Manage Debtor Credit Limits
Daily GP reports to Management
Manage any Queries
Bank and cash book Recons
Petty Cash Management
Payroll – Load Salaries & loading of all payments on bank
Coordinating and working closely with External Outsourced Accountants

Salary: R15 - 16k negotiable, dependent on experience
