Established Audit firm is offering an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to work in a secure space in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is an established Accounting firm seeking to employ a Bookkeeper. Lovely working environment with a stable team based in Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. You will visit clients, assist with small audits and general accounting tasks. Position offers 15 days leave - December to start of January.

Requirements:

Matric
Solid understanding of Afrikaans - read and write
Strong EXCEL skills
Certificate / Diploma in Finance / Accounting / Bookkeeping
Valid Driver''s license

Duties:

Work independently on various client''s portfolio
Monthly management of smaller clients - trusts/CC''s/companies on PASTEL
Monthly / Weekly Wages and Salaries for clients on PASTEL
EMP201, VAT201, ITR12, IT14
Accounting tasks relating to yearly financial statements
Journals, Asset register, VAT reconciliation, Tax calculations
Managing small audits and preparation of financial statements
Client interaction and managing of client''s queries and issues
