SUMMARY:
Durban. Senior Bookkeeper required for a Licensed B-BBEE Wholesale Petroleum Company. Providing a supply of quality endorsed petrochemical products, namely; petrol, diesel, illuminating paraffin, LPG, HFO, lubricants, commercial burner fuel and bitumen at competitive prices.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Good computer literacy and experience working on Excel and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

Daily invoicing
Weekly and monthly reporting
Debtors and creditors recon
Requesting PODS from distributors
Verify payments coming into bank account
General overview of Company management
Works closely with all staff members. To schedule meetings with staff
Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
Manage schedules and deadlines
Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, operations planning etc.)
Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations
Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments

Requirements:

2 - 3 years admin experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Well-versed in departmental procedures and policies
Able to actively discover new ways to do the job more efficiently
Good computer knowledge / skills
Excel and QuickBooks
Diverse and works well within a team environment
