POSITION INFO:

Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant – Killarney Gardens – R14,000 per month

 

  • Education – Minimum Matric - Accounts and Mathematics
  • Preferable Tertiary Education – 1st year Accounts or a Bookkeeping or Accounting Diploma
  • Minimum of Basic Excel calculation skills (doing actual calculations using excel proficiently) not just typing up spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of an accounting system preferably QuickBooks, but any accounting software will do – Minimum 2 years’ experience.

Accounts clerical knowledge and experience:

  • Processing of Creditors invoices
  • Processing of General journals
  • Reconciliation of Petty Cash
  • Processing of Debtors and Creditors journals
  • Creditors Reconciliations

 

The position will entail some basic clerical work, filing, document control, basic accounts processing, sending out of emails, etc, but also would require some receptionist skills, so a good telephone manner is also a must.
