An innovative, diligent bulk materials and handling solutions firm is looking to hire a driven, analytical, and experienced Bookkeeper to add to their team based in Johannesburg North.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An innovative, diligent bulk materials and handling solutions firm is looking to hire a driven, analytical, and experienced Bookkeeper to add to their team based in Johannesburg North.

You will oversee the full bookkeeping function whilst also doing debtors and creditor’s role.

Your duties will also include but are not limited to:

Responsibility of finance administration
Reconciliation of bank balances to General Ledger balances
Capturing of cashbooks and previous day transactions of bank statements
Creditors reconciliations
Following up on tax invoices for payment quotations
Sending out of statements and capturing debtor statements and invoices
Ensuring that you support the company’s commitment to quality and customer focus

Education Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting

Job Requirements and Skills:

Experience in the Engineering industry advantageous
PASTEL Skills is non-negotiable
Good knowledge with MS Packages
Financial acumen
Ability to work under pressure
Strong organisational skills
Deadline driven
Excellent communication skills
