SUMMARY:
Our International Client, a large well established supplier of tools, lighting, batteries and various similar products, requires an experienced Bookkeeper to join their successful finance team at their Head Office in Gauteng.

We require your clear communication skills in both English and Afrikaans. This position involves managing one of their major branches financial portfolio using your minimum five years’ experience from a similar role, and your advanced excel skills experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum qualification would be a higher certificate/diploma in finance or bookkeeping.
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
Advanced excel is a must.
Sage X3 experience would be advantageous.

DUTIES

Daily Sales Report
Weekly and Monthly Bank Recon
Sending Bank Deposits to Credit Controller Daily
Cashbook
Manual matching in Sage X3
Capturing Creditors Invoices into Sage X3
Preparing Creditors Recons
Preparing payments on ANZ
Personal Expenses Journals - Weekly
Capturing Petty Cash - Monthly
Assisting with preparation and posting of Quarterly Stock Takes
Fixed Asset Register & Depreciation Journal
Stock Adjustments in Sage X3
Expense Variances
Assisting FD with various schedules for Financial Year End and Annual Budgets
GL recons
Adding users / assigning access on Sage X3
Knowledge of GRN and Purchase Invoice procedures on Sage X3
Knowledge of Rebates Calculations - advantageous
Any other admin related work

Salary: R dependent on experience
