Bookkeeper

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper for a company based in Pietermaritzburg. This role would suit someone with an accounting/tax qualification and experience.

It is essential that the individual is an expert on Sage Accounting (online version) and has had experience submitting SARS returns (VAT, PAYE, Prov Tax etc.). It would be preferred if the individual is a registered tax practitioner with a recognised controlling body.

Duties include but not restricted to:

• Generating invoices
• Capturing bank statements
• Debtors and Creditors Control
• Filing of all invoices (electronic and hard copies)
• Recovery of receivables (must have excellent client relations skill)
• PAYE submission
• VAT submission
• Journal entries, as needed
• Monthly management accounts generation
• Prov and assessed Tax returns
• CIPC returns
• Administration Functions
• Other tasks related to business processes, as required
