Bookkeeper - Green Point - R21K/month

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a leader in the Renewable Energy industry and due to the exponential growth they are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organization.

Requirements:

Certificate/diploma in bookkeeping
2-3 years’ experience in bookkeeping
Must have worked on an accounting package

Experience in the following:
- Processing and reconciling cashbook, creditors, and debtors
- Processing accounting journals
- Collect, review, prepare & compile payment packs
- Timeous bank loading of creditors, vendor payments
- Accounting and creditors query resolution
- Preparation of monthly statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, UIF etc)
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of budgets
- Audit preparation
