JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Bookkeeper who demonstrates strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The key role of the Bookkeeper is to accurately record day to day financial transactions and assist the Accountants

Responsibilities:

Process credit applications
Process and reconcile local creditors
Process and reconcile credit cards
Administration of insurance claims, vendor applications and assist with audits
Complete Vendor Applications
Process Foreign Supplier clearing documents
Run the Daily Sales Report
Electronic scanning and filing of invoices and delivery notes
Processing of daily bank receipts/payments

Requirements:

Minimum of a Matric
Further bookkeeping qualification will be an advantage
1 - 2 years bookkeeping experience
Inherent strengths in mathematics and accounting will see the right person thrive in this role
Self confidence and excellent communication skills are essential
