JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Bookkeeper who demonstrates strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The key role of the Bookkeeper is to accurately record day to day financial transactions and assist the Accountants

Responsibilities:

  • Process credit applications
  • Process and reconcile local creditors 
  • Process and reconcile credit cards
  • Administration of insurance claims, vendor applications and assist with audits
  • Complete Vendor Applications
  • Process Foreign Supplier clearing documents
  • Run the Daily Sales Report
  • Electronic scanning and filing of invoices and delivery notes
  • Processing of daily bank receipts/payments

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Matric
  • Further bookkeeping qualification will be an advantage
  • 1 - 2 years bookkeeping experience
  • Inherent strengths in mathematics and accounting will see the right person thrive in this role
  • Self confidence and excellent communication skills are essential
