SUMMARY:
A client within the retail industry is looking for a bookkeeper, young, vibrant and dynamic.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Matric
2 - 5 years experience in a similar role
Forex Cash Flow
Update group account excel sheet
Daily ad-hoc
File supplier / customer invoices
Forex Deals sorting and updating excel sheet
Assist Auditors with year-end audit
Debtors report
Following up on outstanding supplier invoices
Approving of all supplier / sales invoices on Dokka and Xero
Ensure all invoices processed on Xero are VAT compliant if VAT is claimed
Review credit cards statements
Review intercompany invoices
Review general expenses summary sheet
The Box (Reporting pack, profit and loss, and expenses information)
Member Discovery refunds (calculate)
Abelia Trial Balance (manual excel sheet)
Rental invoices (Tenants)
Review petty cash
Assist with VAT audits
Bank reconciliation (Main, Money Market, CFC, Credit Cards, Salary, Other accounts)
Month End - confirming daily banking (Cash Control reconciliation)
Export and import bank statements in XERO
Review Petty Cash updated by Finance clerk
Management of creditors
Update monthly rental charges on excel sheet
File bank statements & Xero reconciliation report
Reconcile Online Sales Report vs bank receipts
Import Supplier File (Payment and Rate Sheet File) and Imports Ad-hoc (Not daily)
