Bookkeeper

SUMMARY:
Calling all Bookkeepers in Camps Bay, Cape Town. We are looking for a young and exuberant Bookkeeper, to take on a role, and support the finance department from a creditors and administration perspective. POSITION INFO:

Recording/processing of day-to-day transactions such as creditors'' invoices, debtors’ invoices, and bank transactions.

Bookkeeping to Trial Balance

Capturing payroll journals

Maintaining petty cash registers

Administering of accounts receivable and accounts payable

Assisting with following up on overdue amounts

Maintaining foreign shipping documents, registers, and related documents

Assisting with year-end closings

Assisting with submissions to SARS

Adhere to control procedures (including reconciliations, documentation, and authorization requirements).

Liaise with staff at the head office to assist in placing orders on time and tracking shipments

Overseeing general administration of financial activities.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1-year experience as a Bookkeeper

Qualification:

Matric

Tertiary Qualification or Certification in Bookkeeping or Finance.
