A manufacturing company is currently looking for a Bookkeeper to join their finance team as soon as possible.

As the Bookkeeper, you will be involved in every aspect of the finance department ensuring that the correct information is presented on a continuous basis.

As a Bookkeeper you will be responsible for the following:

Bookkeeping:

• General ledger accounting (GL recons/intercompany accounts/monthly journals etc)
• Variance analysis (review income statement)
• Cash books (understand vat impact)
• Debtors
• Creditors
• Fixed assets

Payroll:

• Manage the clocking system
• Computation of salaries and wages using VIP Payroll
• Update payroll records
• Monthly SARS E-filling submissions
• Annual EMP501 Submission to SARS
• Administration of payroll 3^rd payments
• Assist HR Department

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Matric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)

Certificate / Diploma in Bookkeeping

Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in a Bookkeeper position

Advanced knowledge of VIP Payroll packages

Pastel Evolution is preferred
