Our client, a small professional Tax and Accounting firm, in Durbanville, seeks to employ a competent and reliable Bookkeeper, who has experience in Sage/Pastel to join their team, on a 6 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent.Â

Candidates currently resident in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town will receive preference.Â

• You will have Matric, with a financial qualification as advantageous, coupled with 2-5 years experience in processing VAT returns, Bank statements, Journals and Adjustments on Sage Pastel, preferably in a financial services or accounting environment, dealing with many company accounts.
• Ideally, you will have sound taxation experience such as company tax, income tax, VAT, to further assist the team to meet deadlines.
• You must have a proven track record in accuracy, contactable reference and your own reliable transport
• Due to the nature of the role dealing with confidential information and finances. you will undergo a credit and criminal check
