SUMMARY:
Umhlanga. Corporate company based in Umhlanga seeks competent bookkeeper with 1 - 2 years experience, bookkeeping diploma,good Excel and Pastel skills to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Stong Excel skills coupled with experience dealing with debtors, creditors, internet banking, SARS Efiling, VAT201 and EMP201 is essential. Handle salaries, cashbook and journal entries. A flair for reconciliations and accuracy with schedules is essential. Pastel, VIP Payroll and property experience would be an advantage.

21 working days leave and additional study leave is an attraction.

Full creditors – ensuring all supplier invoices are received, captured into the accounting software, reconciled, and paid timeously.
Daily bank receipting on Cash Book.
Daily processing of cashbook payments and reconciling of banks.
Assist with debtors’ function.
Ability to compute and reconcile reconciliations of key accounts.
Preparation of monthly GL reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy of all books of account including, general ledger, debtors, creditors, fixed assets etc.
Finalisation of monthly trial balances including journals and reconciliations.
Management accounts preparation and facilitation of process to meet timeline.
Document reasons for monthly income statement analytics.
Preparation of VAT reconciliations.
Assisting in month-end and year-end closing.
Processing of Journal entries.
Monthly group loan balancing.
Preparation and Management of year end audits/reviews.
Ad-hoc task or any other task requirement by management.
