SUMMARY:
Our client, a national listed entity needs your skills in this busy imports division. Your experience in an Imports, Freight or Shipping company the key.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

B.Com essential.
Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper.
SAP experience essential.
Computer literacy (Excel, Word) essential.

Key Performance Areas:

Prepare, review and clear balance sheet recons.
Analyse various daily reports and transactions.
Create and prepare monthly journals.
Assist Creditors and Debtors when required.
Capture and maintain cash book daily.
Prepare and submit daily cash flow cost.
Review shipping recons.
Check all creditors recons and payments.
Check all sundry and trade payments.
Fixed Asset Controller:

Prepare Capex to be signed off;
Create asset cards on SAP;
Manage and perform FA count.

Prepare monthly general ledger recons.
Approve all shipping and local payments.
Prepare monthly trade journals (sales/purchases/shrinkage/adjustments).
Investigate GP discrepancies monthly.
