A consulting company within the engineering industry is looking for a strong bookkeeper with payroll admin experience that can join their team

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

B Com OR Ndip in Accounting
1 – 2 Years working experience as a Bookkeeper
Advanced Excel skills

Pastel Partner / Payroll /SAGE/ Sage One experience

Duties:

Knowledge of Journals - Depreciation, Customer, Supplier, Payroll, General
Knowledge of Pastel account financial categories
Acquire employee information for payroll
Maintain Fixed Asset Register
Maintain SARS Accounts up to date (Submissions & payments)
PAYE, UIF, SDL applications
Process Monthly payroll
Process year end adjusting journal entries and provisions
Reconcile payroll to accounting system
