Bookkeeper

SUMMARY:
Are you an efficiency orientated, and driven individual with experience in Bookkeeping and extensive debtor’s management? Our client is looking for a seasoned all-round bookkeeper to report to the Financial Manager and assist with all Financial Transactions including accounts payable, payroll and calculating Trial Balance.

POSITION INFO:

Assisting in the monthly preparation and reporting of management accounts including balance sheets and income statements

Assisting in the preparation and management of the annual financial audit

Assisting in the preparation and management of the annual BEE audit

Processing of monthly recurring journals

Performing month-end and year-end close processes

Assisting with data analytics

Capture and Reconcile the cash book

Preparing weekly and monthly cash flow reports

Capturing suppliers’ invoices on accounting system

Weekly balancing of inter-Company accounts

Reconciling the supplier accounts

Liaising with suppliers

Daily monitoring of Claims and Queries with retailers and operations to resolve claims timeously

Managing the Age Analysis

Raising monthly and daily Invoices

Sending monthly customer statements and invoices

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position

VIP payroll experience beneficial

Debtor’s experience dealing with retailers

IFRS knowledge

Qualification:

Degree or Qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping
