Bookkeeper

SUMMARY:
Fast paced company based in Centurion is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to commence service as soon as possible. This role is critical to the business and very pressurized and detail orientated. The role reports directly to the Director.

POSITION INFO:

Essentials:

• Formal bookkeeping or accounting qualification (At Varsity Level)
• At least 10 years’ post qualification experience in bookkeeping/accounting
• Quickbooks is a requirement this is not negotiable
• Excellent Excel
• Superb knowledge on T-Accounts
• Preference will be given to candidate living in the Centurion / Irene area
• Ability to write reports with the highest standard of English

KPA''s

• Keep accurate records of all daily financial transactions
• Prepare balance sheets
• Process invoices
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements
• Participate in financial audits
• Track bank deposits and payments
• Monthly stock takes
• Providing clients with quotations
• Ordering stock from suppliers
• Familiarize himself/herself with the business activities of all companies in the Group to, on a very basic level, assist clients with basic queries
• Adhere to all policies in the Company with regard to processes, version control and document control
• Assist with all tasks reasonable requested
• Follow all instructions reasonably given by any of the directors or the Financial Manager
• At all times act with due care, diligence, skill, a high level of accuracy and within the timelines implemented by the company when rendering services to Clients
