POSITION INFO:
Our client is a leading player in the import, distribution and retail supply of premium European food products. With operations that move quickly and a finance function that underpins every decision, they’re looking for a hands-on Bookkeeper who can manage high-volume transactions, keep systems clean, and ensure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
• Processing high-volume AP & AR
• Supplier reconciliations and payment preparation
• Cashbook management and daily bank recon
• Assisting with month-end journals & schedules
• VAT submissions and SARS compliance
• Assisting the Accountant with ad-hoc finance tasks
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting internal audits

• 3–5+ years bookkeeping experience in FMCG/distribution/retail (advantageous)
• Strong Excel and accounting system experience
• Strong reconciliations background
• Ability to work under pressure with tight turnaround times
• High attention to detail & accountability
• Team player with a proactive approach
