Are you an organised, analytical, and detail-driven finance professional looking to advance your career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment? A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their Head Office Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, embraces change, and is committed to accuracy and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily

Process direct allocations for supplier and sundry refunds
Clear bank clearing accounts

Monthly

Manage the cashbook department and ensure strict adherence to monthly deadlines

Budgeting & Forecasting

Collate and consolidate budget and forecast information from various stakeholders

Audit Support

Prepare annual year-end audit requirements within set deadlines
Assist external auditors as needed
Support internal audits and recommend internal control improvements

Banking & Payments

Approve daily payments via SAP according to defined payment runs
Maintain banking signatories, SAP beneficiaries, capturers, and releasers
Ensure proper segregation of duties across bank platforms

Analysis & Reporting

Assist with financial analysis and special requests
Support finance-driven projects aimed at enhancing processes and controls

Ad Hoc

Assist the Accountant with various ad hoc finance tasks as required

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Grade 12 Certificate
BCom degree or Diploma in Finance
3–5 years’ experience in a similar finance role
Proficient SAP and Excel skills
Foreign currency experience would be beneficial
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement
Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical abilities
Able to work under pressure, handle change, and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conceptual thinking abilities
