Recording/processing of day-to-day transactions such as creditors' invoices, debtors’ invoices, and bank transactions.

Bookkeeping to Trial Balance function

Capturing payroll journals

Maintaining petty cash registers

Administering of accounts receivable and accounts payable

Assisting with following up on overdue amounts

Maintaining foreign shipping documents, registers, and related documents

Assisting with year-end closings

Assisting with submissions to SARS

Adhere to control procedures (including reconciliations, documentation, and authorization requirements).

Liaise with staff at the head office to assist in placing orders on time and tracking shipments

Overseeing general administration of financial activities.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Strong Bookkeeping knowledge

Forex experience

Shipment tracking experience

Working with transport/shipping companies

Qualification:

Completed Matric Qualification

Tertiary Qualification in Finance is beneficial
