POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Construction and repair: Building and fixing boilers, tanks, and other large vessels for storing and processing various products.
- Welding: Using welding equipment to join metal parts and repair components, often involving different methods like MIG and TIG welding.
- Metal fabrication: Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal pieces using tools like flame cutting torches and other machinery.
- Installation: Installing components inside vessels, as well as other equipment such as pipes for dams or pollution abatement equipment.
- Testing: Testing completed boilers and other vessels to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance to ensure the longevity of the structures.
- Rigging: Setting up rigging to lift and move heavy parts into place.
