A mining company is looking for a Boilermaker to join their team in Limpopo. The team will be working both Opencast and underground.

POSITION INFO:

Position: Boilermaker

 

A mining company is looking for a Boilermaker to join their team in Limpopo.

The team will be working both Opencast and underground.

 

Responsibilities:

• Welding with CO2
• Arc Welding
• Brazing
• Sharpening drill bits/punchers
• Cutting with a cutting torch
• Marking out material
• Area safe declaration (fire extinguisher all equipment safety checklists)
• Understanding of safe storage of chemicals and gas cylinders
• Complying to Health and Safety standards
• Quality control

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Trade test
• 2 Years’ experience as a qualified Boilermaker in a mining environment
