POSITION INFO:
Purpose:
Ensure quality grinding on all equipment in a safe environment as well as to assist Boilermakers in fabrication.

Minimum Qualifications:
Entrance Certificate: Grade 12 (including Mathematics and Science) OR N2.

Minimum Experience:
Boilermaking/Welding: 1 year.

Roles and Responsibilities include inter alia:

Manufacturing Engineering
Perform quality grinding process.
Prepare and clean product prior to the process.
Prepare material as per requirements.
Report deviations to Supervisor immediately.
Assist Boilermakers with fabrication of new equipment and other requests according to instructions and specifications.

Support
Operate forklift, overhead cranes and front loader (If applicable).
Perform field service (If applicable).
Shut equipment down and safeguard according to SOP and complete checklist.
Provide support where required within set time frame.
Inspect vehicle before and after use and complete checklist.
