Boilermaker

JOB DESCRIPTION:

There is an immediate vacancy for a Boilermaker based at Fermel Wadeville, reporting to the Production Manager.
To be successful as a boilermaker, you should be proficient in welding skills, be physically fit, and demonstrate good reading comprehension. Ultimately, a top-notch boilermaker should have the ability to detect and fix problems, and have excellent mechanical skills.

Boilermaker Responsibilities:

Reading blueprints for location, position, and dimensions.
Completing maintenance documentation.
Organizing and assembling boiling parts.
Shaping and fabricating parts.
Welding and cleaning of fabricated parts
Inspecting equipment for proper functioning.

Boilermaker Requirements:

Technical and vocational education and training qualification.
Apprentice training.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Excellent reading comprehension.
Physical stamina.
Must have excellent Welding skills
Welding fabricated items utilising FCAW, MIG, TIG and Semi-Automatic welding processes.
Assisting in the development and creation of welding procedures and specification.
