SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a responsible and trustworthy biolermaker that will Adhere to strict occupational health and safety guidelines
- Follow instructions and perform other duties as required
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
- Assist in the selection and collection of appropriate, materials, methods, equipment, and tools necessary to complete the job
- Complete products by washing, cleaning, chiseling, grinding, and filing
- Cut, mold, twist, shape, punch, hammer and weld metal
- Perform routine maintenance on tools an equipment
- Use a range of machinery, hand, and power tools
- Use welding equipment and CNC (computer numerically controlled) machines
- Use range of methods to assemble parts such a screwing, bolding, welding and riveting.
- All boilermaking duties not specifically listed above, but required for the successful completion of product build

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Performs boilermaking tasks including welding, assembly, erection, repair of containers and steel frames
- Convey tools, equipment, and parts to work area by hand or hand trolly
- Cleans steel frames off spatter using a grinder or a wire brush
- Cleans stainless steel frames using pickling paste
- Cleans work area, and places salvageable material in bins
- Attaches slings, ropes, or cables to objects such as frames pump bases to be moved
- Bolts or unbolts assemblies, using hand tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and prying bars
- Performs other duties as described under job title

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
National Senior Certificate
Valid Driver’s License
3+ year’s stainless steel welding experience
Red Seal
MIG, co2/ and flux cored arc welding
Must be medically fit and pass medical examination
Must be able to work overtime if required
Must have sober habits and be well discipline

SKILLS REQUIRMENTS : Able to perform manual work
Able to work well in a TEAM ENVIROMENT
Good manual dexterity with the ability to use tools and machinery mechanical aptitude
Safety awareness
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
