SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity for a qualified Boilermaker to join a strong engineering team in the Western Cape!
In this role, you will be responsible for performing fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal structures and components, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and technical standards. You will be involved in material cutting, welding (MIG, TIG, and Arc), machining, and fitting of parts, as well as the installation and testing of machinery, systems, and platforms. Your role will also include maintaining accurate documentation, performing QC checks, and assisting in training apprentices and semi-skilled workers.
POSITION INFO:
To succeed in this role, you should have a recognised Boilermaker trade qualification and 3-5 years of post-trade experience in a similar environment. Strong technical knowledge of fabrication, welding, and fitting processes is essential, along with attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
