• Grade 12.
• Qualified Boilermaker
• Welding Experience
• Gas cutting Experience

 Technical skills and specialist knowledge:

• Understanding Production Processes.
• Arc welding in all positions.
• Gas cutting
• Sheet metal work
• Understanding of Disciplinary Code & Grievance Procedure
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Knowledge of using Measuring equipment.
• Able to work from drawings
• Able to work under pressure
• Managing Change & Uncertainty
• Team Worker
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Problem Solving
• Work accurately
• Coaching of learners
• To follow the iso and OSH act standards.

Responsibilities
TQM/ Elimination of waste

• Utilise all allocated resources within your control effectively at all times.

• Ensure 5S (Ensure 5S direction to defined standards).
• Practice and improve 5S in your work area and in the manufacturing areas as in line with the company standards.

 Health, Safety and Environment

• Ensure PPE is worn according to work standards.
• Follow the SHEMS procedures.
• All incidents need to be reported within the same shift. Perform all safety checks according to the safety standards.
• To ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Quality

• Ensure work produced is of a high standard.
• Risk based thinking.

Delivery

•   To ensure on delivery time .

 Attendance

• Responsible personal attendance to ensure it is 98% on an ongoing basis (Since the role is to support production, your attendance is vital for the successful running of the plant).

• Responsible for own personal development in line with company strategy
• Adhere to HR policies & procedures (Performance Management, Talent management, Skills development, Development planning).
