SUMMARY:
As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible to fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and other equipment in a process plant setting. Ensure the integrity and functionality of metal structures to support efficient and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout, assembly, and installation of metal components
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures, including boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and piping systems, using hand tools, welding equipment, and machinery
- Cut, shape, and weld metal pieces to precise measurements and specifications, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards
- Install and align fabricated components according to layout plans, equipment manuals, and engineering drawings
- Conduct inspections and tests of welded joints and metal structures to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards and codes
- Repair or replace damaged or worn parts of boilers, tanks, and other equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to prevent equipment breakdowns and prolong service life
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other tradespeople to plan and execute construction and maintenance projects effectively
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the implementation of lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance activities
Qualifications:- Grade 12
- Qualified Boilermaker (Red Seal - Compulsory)
- 5 years’ experience as a Boilermaker on a process plant
- Good communication skills (read and write)
- Good understanding of Safety Standards and Procedures
- Willing to work overtime
- Own reliable transport
