Boilermaker

SUMMARY:
Our client, a national manufacturing company, currently seeks the services of a Qualified Boilermaker, to assist with fabrication/welding repairs on trollies, racking, waterjet nests, mechanical components, for the next 2 months.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:

• Matric.
• Boilermaker Trade Test essential.
• Min 5 years experience as a Boilermaker essential.

• Manufacturing & general repairs to plant equipment (dunnage, trollies, racking).
• Continuous improvements in plant.
• Ensure job cards are completed on Maintenance Connection.
• Report safety hazards.
• Assist with projects and improvements on plant equipment.
• Stop production process if major issues occur and report issues to the Maintenance Manager.

• Ensure that work is conducted in accordance with the General Machinery Regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act No.85 of 1993.
• Conduct safety inspections as per the roster.
• Ensure work is conducted in compliance with the OHS General safety Regulations.
• Comply with the company SHE procedures and rules.
• Report any identified unsafe conditions or unsafe acts to the Maintenance Foreman.
