SUMMARY:
An expert company in the industrial steam boiler industry is looking for 4 x Boiler Operators to work on a contract basis in Table View, Cape Town starting from the end of June 2022.
Technical knowledge is a must.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The individual must have problem-solving skills as well as
machine/process monitoring or operating experience.
Must be a quick learner.
Skills/experience required:

Operate and maintain boilers.
Perform compression and safety tests.
Water sampling and treatment.
Carry out preventative maintenance.
Replace worn parts as required.
Monitor and record all critical control parameters.
Speak clearly so listeners can understand.
Understand spoken information.
Listen to others and ask questions.
Understand written information.
Read and understand work-related materials.
Write clearly so other people can understand.

Must be prepared to work overtime hours and weekends.
Planned 12-hour shifts.
Operators will be working for 6 days consecutively with 4 consecutive days off.
Start at 05:30 in the morning and preferably have own transport.
Late arrivals for the shifts will not be tolerated.
