Boiler Lab Intern

SUMMARY:
Our client in the FMCG industry has an opportunity available for a Boiler Lab Intern in the Randfontein area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• S4 National Diploma (Quality, Analytical chemistry or Water Chemistry) with a good academic record
• No previous working experience required
• Understanding of Analytical Chemistry, Water Chemistry 
• Computer literate
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to adapt to change effectively
• Attention to detail

KPAs:

• Ensures boiler quality control SOP''s are followed with little supervision
• Sampling of Boilers, coal trucks and boiler water
• Compiles reports and results and send to relevant personnel on a scheduled basis
• Reports and communicates deviations
• Performs in process inspections and tests Quality of water, coal, condensate against specifications 
• Reviews batch record for completion and proper documentation
• Performs calibrations and verification on instruments 
• Support and assist lab technicians, and Boiler operators
•  Micro analysis/ water analysis
