SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an opportunity available for a Bobcat Operator/Skid Steer Loader to be based in the Brits area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • Grade 10 or equivalent
  • Competent B and BA certificate of competency
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in underground mining environment
  • Working knowledge of health and safety procedures, policies, records etc
  • Subject to passing dover assessment
  • Medical Certificate of Fitness
Duties:
  • Moving equipment using bobcat bucket
  • Lifting of equipment’s using Bobcat lifting forks
  • Cleaning and Sweeping surface using Bobcat broom
  • Inspection of Bobcat machine for defects or malfunctions
  • Cleaning of surface and underground area using Bobcat machine
  • Conducting of machine pre-use inspection check list
  • Safe operation of the Bobcat machine
  • Timeous and accurate reporting
