POSITION INFO:

JOB SPECIFICATION FOR:  REACT FRONT END DEVELOPER

 IT Company  is looking for a REACT FRONT END DEVELOPER,  to help develop and support a product offering for a client in the Netherlands.

The product being developed is a cloud based Office365 application with various integration points with Web API’s.

Prospective applicants should have good communication skills, and be motivated to work in a team. 

Experience in REACT, REDUX and CSS skills will be beneficial. 

1.    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of new projects and services.
• Maintaining existing projects and services.
• Requirements gathering (technical level only)
• Apply Agile/SCRUM methods to projects.
• Prioritize tasks and schedules within the project
• Implement design patterns.
• Refactor code where appropriate so the code base is always maintained (neat and relevant).
• Investigate new technologies/tools
• Working with business analysts and end-users to identify and refine requirements
• Provide input into the design specifications

2.    REQUIREMENTS

•  An applicant must have proven a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Front-end Coding and Design (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, and libraries or frameworks such as React) is beneficial.
• Experience with REST, JSON, and Web 2.0 technologies and APIS.
• Solid understanding of version control principles, preferably using Git/Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience with .NET application development.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience building complex applications with high-performance needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

3.    SERVICE OBLIGATION

The appointment is permanent.

The first three months in terms of this offer shall be a probation period, with special conditions applied.

4.    AA/AE

The position is valid for non AA/AE candidates.

5.    LOCATION

The location of the employment will be remotely from home with a weekly visit to our main offices are in Centurion

6.    REMUNERATION PACKAGE

The remuneration package is market and experience-based.
