Billings Manager - Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

Our client is the ICT Industry is looking for a Billing Manager to effectively manage the Billings Department, increasing work process efficiency and profitability through functional and operational analysis and productive team management. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Practical knowledge and experience of billings 
• Understanding of  different types of billings
• Understanding of BPO and how the contracts are set up for billing
• Understanding and doing analysis on meter readings and customer billings
• Able to resolve day to day queries relating to Billings
• Managing a team of 13 employees in the department
• Will be responsible for Gauteng Province and a few sites in neigbouring province 
• Have a good understanding of the business and the role each department plays
• Admin intensive work
• Prepare reports for customers
• Work closely with Contracts and Debtors departments
• Monitor department performance daily on meter collections
• Ongoing mentoring of staff
• In depth understanding of the office automation Industry 

Essential requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office with strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Previous working experience in a similar role and in the office automation industry
• BPO Knowledge - Essential
• Knowledge of OMD – Added advantage
• Understanding of financial Accounting - debit and creditsentries 
• Strong Administration Skills
• Strong Customer liaison skills
• Attention to Detail (Above avarage Work Standards)
• Able to work effectively under pressure
• Must be Diligent and Efficient
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to work in a Team 
• Systematic Problem Solving abilities
• Accurate data capturing - priority
• Be willing to work long hours
• Be willing to travel extensively and stay away for a number of days
