An established Financial Services firm based in Randburg is looking to hire a dynamic Billings and Collections Officer to join their growing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An established Financial Services firm based in Randburg is looking to hire a dynamic Billings and Collections Officer to join their growing team.

You will ensure that billings are done timeously, calculated correctly, and captured on the accounting system. You will oversee client account collections that receive funding from the company. Other duties include but are not limited to ensuring the accuracy of repayment calculations, including interest on arrears, settlement, and amortisation calculations. Balance sheet reconciliations. Generation of invoices and credit notes. Debtor allocations and reconciliations. Customer liaison and query resolution. Preparation of collection repayments due. Management and resolution of unpaid instructions as well as any internal legal team liaison.

Education Requirements:

Must have Mathematics in Matric
BCom in Finance/Accounting

Job Requirements and Skills:

3 to 5 years’ experience in billings and collection role essential
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is essential
Microsoft 365 experience advantageous
Exposure to SMEs
Xero Accounting experience will be preferred
Ability to take initiative, learn quickly and deadline driven
Ability to work in high pressure environment
Team Player
