Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Senior Certificate) with minimum of 3 years working experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Infor Visual will be beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent numeric, oral, and written language skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills (with internal as well as external stakeholders)
• Excellent administrative skills.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Competent in problem-solving, planning, and decision-making.
• Conflict management and conflict resolution skills.
• Must be computer literate.

Scope:

• The function of a BOM Coordinator is to create, modify and maintain a Bill of Materials for the manufacturing of various refrigeration and air conditioning products.
• The individual needs to convert data received from various departments suitable for input into our ERP system (Visual Infor).

Main Duties:

• The bill of material (BOM) is to be created according to the PRF (Production Request Form).
• Missing data to be identified and brought to the Planning Managers'' attention.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently & work independently, if need be work overtime.
• Liaise with Procurement Department to facilitate the ordering of raw materials to supply manufacturing in accordance with planned pieces to be manufactured.
• Ensure BOM (Bill of Materials) is up to date and current.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and comply with the company’s safety and quality standards.
