Big Data Engineer

POSITION INFO:

The core purpose of the Big Data Engineer is to provide the customers (users) with medium to large (complex), cost effective Cloud based Analytical Application Landscapes, and Analytical Services, which fulfil business requirements regarding Analytics, Reporting, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence according to corporate requirements.

The Big Data Engineer will also be required to provide specialist/expert knowledge/advice/opinion/efforts in pursuing Cloud based solutions and Services whether in projects or existing maintenance

ESSENTIAL: 

• 3 year IT (or related) Qualification - degree or diploma (minimum)
• Minimum 3 years Big Data Operations and Design systems experience
• Past Hadoop installation and monitoring track record
• Hadoop-based data lake experience, data science experience
• Data Engineering experience
• Kubernetes, databricks experience
