SUMMARY:
A leading client in the Hospitality sector is looking for a friendly, skilled and passionate Barista to support daily operations within a busy coffee shop environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality hot and cold beverages, maintaining excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

The ideal candidate will be expected to operate coffee machines, follow standard beverage recipes, handle customer requests, and work efficiently during peak hours. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has an eye for detail, and is committed to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

POSITION INFO:
Key Duties:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, iced drinks, teas, etc.)
• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
• Recommend menu items and ensure beverage quality and consistency
• Operate coffee machines and related equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized barista station and seating area
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
• Handle payments (cash and card) accurately
• Adhere to hygiene, food safety, and health regulations
• Ensure smooth workflow and assist with general coffee shop duties when required.

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, especially during busy periods
• Passion for coffee and customer satisfaction
• Reliable, punctual, and presentable
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when necessary.
