Our client is looking for full stack C# developers, as part of its service offering to existing clients. Applicants should have good communication skills and be motivated to learn new technologies. Experience in logistics,  accounting, similar fields will be beneficial.

Position: Back-End C# .Net Core Developer

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

• Client is situated in Centurion, and operates a software development company

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of new projects and services.
• Maintaining of existing projects and services.
• Requirements gathering (technical level only)
• MSSQL: Creating of Databases, Tables, Stored Procedures and Views.
• Apply Agile/SCRUM methods to projects.
• Prioritize tasks and schedules within the project
• Write test and document JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Make design and technical decisions for .NET/.Net core projects.
• Ensure that coding standards within the team are adhered to. 
• Implement design patterns.
• Perform environment management (deployments scripts and configurations). 
• Implement unit tests, and CI (Continuous Integrations)
• Refactor code where appropriate so the code base is always maintained (neat and relevant).
• Constantly improve on architectures.
• Investigate new technologies/tools
• Working with business analysts and end-users to identify and refine requirements
• Provide input into the design specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• An applicant must have proven a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Back-end Coding and Design (.Net core framework and SQL db knowledge) is beneficial.
• Experience with REST, JSON, and Web 2.0 technologies and APIS.
• Solid understanding of version control principles, preferably using Git/Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience with .NET application performance issues.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience building complex applications with high performance needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
