BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT SADC

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a rapidly expanding organisation in the FOOD AND WATER RETENTION INDUSTRY to recruit a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT SADC to be based at their offices in MIDRAND, JOHANNESBURG, R30k - R40k basic, neg, plus commission, including provident fund, after a probation period.  

OUR CLIENT IS A PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN COMPANY PROVIDING ESSENTIAL SERVICES ON A GLOBAL SCALE.

Applicants should be/have the following:

Matric certificate.

Diploma/degree in sales/marketing, international business, or similar.

Driver’s license.

Valid passport for travel.

Approximately 5 years in managing distributors internationally.

Previous experience dealing with sales and Distributors in the SADC region.

Approximately 5-10 years international sales experience.

Willing to travel regularly outside of SA for business purposes.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Business Development & Research:

Execute on international business strategy

Compile and conduct market analysis and research on new business opportunities

Maintain and grow relationships with existing Distributors and customers

Identifying new customers and partnerships

Sales Administration:

Prepare and process quotations.

Administration of sales orders.

Comply with relevant rules, policies, and procedures for the SADC countries.

Accountable for the logistics of products and resources required to execute on projects.

Client Engagement:

Maintain and grow relationships with existing distributors/customers.

Cold-calling and marketing to client databases (existing and potential).

Team Leadership

Mentor, lead and engage with team members

Assign tasks.

Performance management.

Motivation of the team.

Executes plans and manages own and others’ time so that priorities are met.

Organises tasks and ensures they are completed on time.

Remuneration:

R30k - R40k basic, neg, plus commission, including provident fund, after a probation period.
