BRANCH MANAGER – POLOKWANE

Qualifications:

• Completed Grade 12
• A tertiary qualification will be an advantage

Experience and Requirements:

• 5 or more years’ experience as a Branch Manager
• Sufficient knowledge of steel & wire products
• Computer Literate: Excel & Syspro
• Ability to meet sales targets
•  Results driven and customer focused
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Valid license:  Code EB
• Of sober habits
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Stable work record and contactable reference
• The successful candidate must have a hands-on approach and be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and ensure that sales targets are achieved

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service,

marketing/sales & administration

• Supervise all areas of the branch
• Manage staff, foster a positive environment, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Meet goals and develop forecasts
• Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
• Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
• Interact and call on customers to improve business relationship
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws/statutory requirements
• Stay abreast of competing markets, provide reports on market movement and growth improvement
