BOOKKEEPER / PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
POSITION INFO:
RedCat Recruitment is seeking suitably qualified and experienced BOOKKEEPER / PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR for a well-established, growing concern – position will be based in the Hilton area, KwaZulu-Natal.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Recognised bookkeeping / finance qualification/s.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Excel skills. Experience on Pastel Accounting and payroll packages is essential (Plan-A-Head payroll software is currently used – training will be provided).
2-5 years previous working experience in a similar position is a requirement.
Position would suit a well-rounded accounting generalist with an exceptionally good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Bookkeeping experience up to trial balance.
Basic understanding of SARS / tax principles and requirements.
Person will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable (creditors), processing of payroll (approximately 180 staff) and other finance related tasks for a multi entity group of companies.
Person should have excellent skills with recording and processing data, be organised and neat, have a keen eye for detail and be able to produce clear reports monthly or as and when required.
This would only suit a meticulous, very well-organised person and an excellent communicator, who is not scared of hard work and willing to work the extra hours to get the job done.
