SUMMARY:
BOOKKEEPER / HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced BOOKKEEPER / HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER for a well-established concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management.

Relevant bookkeeping / accounting qualification/s.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Strong Pastel experience. Working experience in human resources / payroll computer programmes.

Full and current understanding of BCEA, LRA, OHS, EE and POPI Acts.

3 – 5 years’ experience in human resources lead role.

3 – 5 years’ experience with bookkeeping functions.

Capture and reconcile monthly suppliers.

Capture and reconcile daily bank statement entries.

Facilitate, implement and ensure compliance to the human resources plan (employment equity, skills development and SETA claim, succession plan and performance reviews).

Effective management, governance and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Represent management in labour matters (disciplinary).

Talent sourcing and coordination in line with legislation requirements and best practice.

Employee onboarding.

Create awareness of company policies and procedures.

Monitoring attendance and leave administration.

Overall human resources administration.

Ensuring compliance with all required legislation.
