POSITION INFO:

BOOKKEEPER

A company in Northriding is seeking a bookkeeper with at least 5 years’ experience. Own reliable transport with valid driver’s license. Appropriate experience and in depth knowledge of general accounting bookkeeping theories and practices.

Duties:

· Accurately analyzing and recording all financial transactions according to accounting principles

· Maintain and reconcile general ledger

· Reconcile accounts payable

· Assist with Accounts Receivable

· Bank reconciliation

· Reconcile medical aid contributions

· Manage, record and maintain asset register

· Petty Cash

· Processing of month end journals

Skills and knowledge:

· Diploma in bookkeeping – advantage

· Proficient in Excel

· Professional

· High level of organizational skills

· Attention to detail

· Problem solver

· Team player

· Excellent communication skills
