Job Description

A successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Creating shipping notes for orders, send to various warehouses for picking and packing
• Completing shipments once delivery notes received
• Operating a computerized stores management system
• Adding POD’s and supporting documentation to Dear SO’s
• Creating Purchase orders for Inventory stock items
• Transferring of stock between warehouses
• Arranging couriers for deliveries and collections
• Examining orders and compiling data for production schedules
• Keeping accurate records of stock and orders
• Dealing with customers and with suppliers to chase orders, organize delivery times or sort out problems
• Stock take, Stock queries and Stock Returns
• Following up with customers to receive export documentation for Sales orders exported
• Weekly, ensure all manual books have been processed on system, supporting documentation attached
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Dealing with any administration relating to the warehouse stock
• Drawing reports about shipments, orders and inventory levels
• Handling the company’s incoming and outgoing stock and check that orders are complete and not damaged

Qualifications

• Matric
• A qualification in Logistics/Inventory, Stock control or any other relevant qualification

Skills

• 3 to 5 years'''' experience in  stores/warehouse environment.
• 3 years experience of sales order processing, order fulfilment and shipping.
