Job Description

Reporting to the Project Manager. You will be responsible for:

• Defining the project scope
• Developing the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Developing Network level resource scheduling (components and labor) below WBS level
• Developing the project schedule
• Estimating the duration and resources requirements of the project
• Monitoring and updating the project performance measurement baseline
• Updating and maintaining the Project Plan & Schedule
• Monitoring and forecasting progress – including Progress Charts (S-curves), Look-Ahead Schedules, etc.
• Timely elevation of critical path events
• Recommending and implementing changes to realign the Schedule with required milestones
• Evaluation of Schedule impacts arising from incidents and decisions
• Coordinating multiple Contractor Schedules into overall Project Master Schedule
• Deviation analyses between planned and actual progress
•Assisting the projects department with capturing plans and updating changes regularly
• Proper documentation and filing of all project related activities
• Timely processing of contractor’s payments
• To ensure process compliance with all project related activities

Qualifications

• Matric
• Project Management or Project Planning qualification
• Valid driver’s license (code 08)

Skills

• 5-6 years'' experience in project panning
• MS projects
