Job Description

Reporting to the SHEQ Manager. You will be responsible for:

• Preparing test solutions, compounds, and reagents for conducting tests and advising and coordinating test procedures.
• Reviewing the test results completed by the Lab Analyst, to confirm their accuracy.
• Analyzing organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reactions.
• Developing, improving, and customizing products, equipment, formulas, processes, and conduct analytical method validations.
• Supervise the day-to-day operations in the laboratory, including auditing, meetings, training and updating documents and records for all aspects of the systems.
• Inducing changes in composition of substances by introducing heat, light, energy, and chemical catalysts for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Developing nonstandard tests for chemical products.
• Managing the outsourcing of Independent Analysis through accredited Laboratories and creating MSDS.
• Maintaining sufficient stock of chemicals and supplies to perform lab experiments.
• Maintaining lab equipment and troubleshoot or report on malfunctions and purchasing new laboratory supplies.
• Driving Customer satisfaction and handle customer complaints.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor''s degree in Chemistry or related field

• 5 years of relevant working experience in analytical chemistry
• ISO 17025 and ISO 9001
